In the early 1980’s, two professional cameramen had the foresight to compile a video record of the rapidly changing railway scene in Yorkshire.
Their footage has been combined to produce a unique and fascinating video archive – ‘York to the Pennines’.

The programme features diesel traction from early 1980s, such as a Class 24 on the Grassington branch and D200 on one of it’s first outings since restoration heading the ‘Hadrian Pullman’.
