About

CineRail and Marsden Rail have been producing railway video and DVD programmes since 1994 and have established a reputation for high quality and consistency.

Most archive material on the DVDs has been transferred from the original film by BBC technicians in order to achieve the highest standards of image quality. This computer-controlled process, which grades every individual frame of film, employs some of the most advanced technology available for telecine transfer in order to achieve the best possible results.

The commitment to quality is also reflected in our modern filming, which is to broadcast standard and the editing of film employs the latest state-of-the-art computer technology. The result is a diverse range of high quality programmes on DVD spanning over eighty years of UK rail operations – from the steam era to the introduction of modern diesel and electric traction.
